The CrossingWell Consumer Health Story

family owned since 1979

We’ve always been a family-owned company, starting with our founding as Randob Labs in 1979. In those formative years, Dormin, America’s original night-time sleep aid, was Randob’s flagship brand, and in 1980s Dan Creagan, a 20-year industry veteran, took over sales for Randob Labs. In the early 90s, Dan purchased Randob and later expanded the product line-up to include Sting-Kill, a best-selling treatment for bee stings and insect bites.

The Next Generation of Leadership

In the early 2010s the baton was passed to a second generation, as Dan’s son Jim Creagan took over the role of President. Under Jim’s leadership the company has continued to grow, and more tried-and-true over-the-counter brands have been added to the Randob portfolio—starting with the acquisition of Balmex a beloved diaper rash treatment.

A Path Forward

After a decade of organic growth and acquisitions under Jim’s leadership, Randob Labs officially rebranded to become CrossingWell Consumer Health in 2022. The new name better reflects the company’s mission as well as its journey, and it helps establish their footing as a company who helps wellness brands grow and prosper. Today, CrossingWell stands firmly At the Crossroads of Healthy Living for families everywhere.
